Small Dog Clothes

There are a number of reasons we, as Miniature Pinscher owners, buy small dog clothes. The obvious one is warmth. We know Min Pins are cold sensitive. They have short hair. This is not a breed with a big fur coat. Those are simply the logical reasons we buy small dog apparel.

Of course no one said we were entirely logical. So let's look at this from the dogs perspective. Some dogs love playing dress up. Miniature Pinschers are natural performers. They love the attention. That's all well and good, and we'll keep repeating that to ourselves so we don't really believe another reason we do it is because we (the owners) simply think it's fun and like the way they look.

Yes we know people buy small dog clothes to show off their pets. They're funny and cute.

Of course we've had pets that make it known in no uncertain terms that they absolutely hate wearing any kind of small dog clothing. OK, we understand, and we'll back off. Perhaps they got a glimpse of themselves in the mirror after we put on that halloween costume last year.
